To all shag clubs:
The BigTime Party Band will be releasing our new song, "Cherry Groove" in the next few weeks. I came up with an idea so that the song would get wide acknowledgement, but I may need some help. Here is my plan. We will send out a copy of "Cherry Groove" to ALL shag clubs. If your shag club hasn't received an mp3 please let me know. You will invent either new shag steps or a line dance and video it, if you choose to participate. Then send it to me by April 1st and the week after that, a winner will be announced. The winner will recieve a FREE show from the BigTime Party Band for one of their socials and the shag steps or line dance will become the official dance for "Cherry Groove".The only additional requirement is, if the event is more than 2 hours from Chapel Hill, NC the club would provide hotel rooms for one night for the band. All clubs that are 2 hours or closer to Chapel Hill would have no expense for the free show.
Now let the competition began!!
